WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?

Reflexology has a very long history dating back to Ancient Eygptian times over 4,000 years ago. However the birth of modern Reflexology is credited to Eunice Ingham who 'mapped' out all the systems of the body on the feet. She believed that all areas of the body could be affected by applying pressure to these clearly defined areas of the feet.

Through the application of pressure, stretch and movement a Reflexologist aims to correct imbalances in the body encouraging the body's own natural healing process. This process induces a sense of calm and well-being.
